Does the cup holder float?
No. Steadi sits on a mat or another supported surface; it is not a floating drink ring. If it goes overboard, it sinks. Keep it clear of the edge.
Will it work on my floating mat?
The real video shows an inflatable lake mat/platform. Steadi needs its full base supported. We haven’t shown a controlled test on every mat, including soft foam lily pads. The mat’s firmness, slope, movement and the drink you use all matter. We have not verified flexible foam-mat performance.
Does it stop every spill?
No. The broad base and gripping fins help resist tipping; they don’t make the drink spill-proof or attach it to the mat. A strong impact, a sharply tilted surface or a kick can still knock it over.
Do I need to attach it to the mat?
No. It’s freestanding. Fit the lower part of your drink between the fins and place the complete base on the surface. There are no clamps, suction cups or adhesives.
Will my drink fit?
Fits cans, bottles, cups & tumblers with compatible bases. The regular range is 2–3 inches across; up to 3.15 inches is snug. The exact 40 oz Stanley Quencher H2.0 and 7.5 oz mini cans are owner-confirmed examples. See the fit guidance.
How do I clean it?
Rinse it, wipe it down, or put it in the dishwasher. Steadi is one molded piece of TPU, with no springs or hardware to take apart.
